Dr Dennis Ng is an experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with over 14 years of clinical experience. He specializes in the treatment of shoulder, knee, and sports injuries. Dr Ng was previously the Deputy Head of the Shoulder Elbow Division and a key member of the Sports Medicine Division at the National University Hospital.

Dr Ng’s areas of expertise include frozen shoulder, rotator cuff tears, shoulder impingement, shoulder dislocation and instability, shoulder arthritis, upper limb fractures, tennis elbow, knee cartilage injury, ligament tears (ACL), meniscus tears, and knee arthritis.

Dr Ng obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore in 2007, and subsequently pursued his postgraduate training in Orthopaedic Surgery. He obtained his Masters of Medicine in 2013 and received the Gold Medal Award for being the top candidate in the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Examination (FRCSEd Orth) in 2015.

Dr Ng underwent subspecialty training at the Fowler Kennedy SportsMedicine Centre in Ontario, Canada, as part of the Human Manpower Development Plan scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Health. He has extensive experience with the management of sports injuries, having treated professional athletes in North America.

Dr Ng is skilled in minimally invasive techniques, which can result in better surgical outcomes and reduced downtime for patients. He has treated national athletes in various sports, including basketball, soccer, judo, rugby, rock climbing, and cycling.
