Dr Chan offers a diverse array of surgical treatments for retinal diseases. His expertises include treatment of macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and various other retinal conditions such as retinal vascular, choroidal, and uveitic eye issues.

Dr. Chan is a triple-Fellowship trained Ophthalmologist. In recognition of his achievements, Dr. Chan was awarded scholarship by the Retina Foundation of Canada to pursue a Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at McGill University, Canada. He was subsequently awarded the coveted Advanced Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship, and the Medical Retina & Uveitis Fellowship, both at Moorfields Eye Hospital London, UK.

He has trained under the tutelage of Professors David Charteris, James Bainbridge, Lyndon da Cruz, John Chen, and Michael Kapusta, internationally-renowned surgeons in the field.
