Professional Profile:

Dr Lam graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1983 and completed her training in internal medicine. She attained the Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) in 1988 and membership of the Royal College of Physicians in UK (MRCP) in 1989.

After completing her basic training, Dr. Lam pursued advanced training in infectious diseases in Singapore as well as in the U.S. She spent two years as a clinical and research postdoctoral fellow in infectious diseases at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Lam’s expertise and dedication have been recognised by several institutions. She was previously Head of Travellers’ Health & Vaccination Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. She is also a visiting consultant in infectious diseases at Singapore General Hospital, a testament to her expertise in the field.

Aside from her work at the hospital, Dr. Lam also runs a private practice. She is passionate about providing her patients with the best care possible, and her extensive training and experience have given her the tools to do so.
