Dr Leong is one of only a handful of ENT doctors that are specially trained in both medical and surgical treatments of nasal conditions ranging from allergy to sinusitis in both children and adults. He is also specialised in performing revision endoscopic sinus surgery in patients that had failed previous nasal surgeries.

He is a pioneer in Sublingual immunotherapy in Singapore which is offered mostly to the Paediatric ENT population. Dr Leong was a visiting consultant in the Department of Otolaryngology, Singapore General Hospital and KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Over the years in these two hospitals, he has acquired special interest in the both adult and Paediatric ENT conditions including tonsils, adenoids, ears, thyroid, throat, salivary glands and sleep conditions.

In 2021, Dr Leong was part of of team of doctors to pioneer Nasal Cryotherapy with the ClariFix device to treat chronic rhinitis. This was the first time that this procedure was done in Singapore.

Dr Leong was the first Singaporean doctor to be accepted into the SingHealth Health Manpower Development Programme, a prestigious one-year hands-on fellowship programme at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA.

Dr Leong is also the Director of SARC (Singapore Allergy & Rhinology Conference) for the past 11 years: this is one of the largest Singapore ENT meetings.
