Dr. Look is specialises in gastrointestinal surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery, and therapeutic endoscopy. He has a particular interest in radical resection procedures, including peritonectomy, which he uses to treat esophageal, gastric,

pancreatic, and abdominal cancers.

Dr. Look is also proficient in minimally invasive surgery and was the first surgeon in Southeast Asia to perform a variety of advanced laparoscopic procedures, including hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic thyroid surgery, and laparoscopic Swedish adjustable gastric banding for morbid obesity.

Dr. Look earned his MBBS from the National University of Singapore and completed his Fellowship in Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and Glasgow. He underwent additional training for a year at the National Cancer Center Hospital in Tokyo as a Ministry of Health Fellow in Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer Surgery. He also worked as an Honorary Consultant in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery for a year at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom
