Professional Profile:

Dr Ng Chin Hin has extensive experience in the treatment and management of blood cancers and other blood disorders. He has a particular interest in acute and chronic leukaemias, including acute myeloid leukaemia, acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, and myelodysplastic syndromes.

Throughout his career, Dr Ng has gained expertise in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of blood conditions, including anaemia, bleeding disorders like haemophilia, and other blood disorders such as lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN).

Dr Ng’s contributions to the field of haematology have been significant. He served as the Clinical Lead for the acute leukaemia service at the National University Cancer Institute of Singapore (NCIS) for over 10 years and was also the Director for the haematology division and Chairperson for the leukaemia tumour board in NCIS. In addition, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine at the National University of Singapore and was actively involved in training undergraduates.

Dr Ng is considered a local and regional key opinion leader in the treatment and management of leukaemia. He served as the Leukaemia Lead and the Research Director for the Haematology Division in the National University Cancer Institute of Singapore from 2013 to 2020 and was the Chairperson for the Leukaemia Tumour Board at the same institution during the same period.
