Dr Roland Ng is a highly accomplished haematologist with extensive academic and clinical experience. He graduated from

Hong Kong University in 1969 with a Gold Medal in Internal Medicine and has held various prestigious positions at Hong Kong University and University College Hospital Medical School, London. He was also a Senior Research Fellow at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York.

Dr Ng started his private practice in the specialty of haematology in Singapore at Mt Elizabeth Hospital in 1984. He was also the Chairman of the Mt Elizabeth Hospital Medical Advisory Board from 1993 to 1995. In addition, he has served as a member of the Singapore National Medical Research Council and is currently a member of Singhealth Centralised Institutional Review Board responsible for the ethical review of research studies. He is also a Principal Mediator of the Singapore Mediation Centre and a member of the Education Panel of the Medical Protection Society.

Dr Ng is highly regarded in the field of haematology and has published extensively in leading journals such as Cancer and Blood. His current clinical interests are in the treatment of anaemia, clotting and bleeding.
