Dr Lim graduated with a medical degree from the National University of Singapore in 1998, before obtaining his Master of Medicine in Anaesthesiology in 2009. In 2011, Dr Lim completed a clinical fellowship that focused on Paediatric Cardiac and Adult Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia at the Royal Brompton Hospital in London. This hospital is renowned as a tertiary heart and lung referral centre for the United Kingdom and Europe and is the largest adult congenital heart disease centre in Europe.
