Dr Tan Yih Kai is a VascularConsultant and Endovascular Surgeon who has devoted his career to providing top-notch medical care to patients. After earning his medical degree from the University of Queensland, Australia in 1994, he pursued his surgical training in the United Kingdom between 1996 and 2006. During this time, he specialised in Vascular Surgery and gained extensive experience in open vascular procedures such as abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, bypass surgery and carotid artery surgery.

Dr Tan is also known for his outstanding contributions to the field of wound management. As the founding member and Chairman of the Wound Management Committee in Changi General Hospital, he revamped the wound care service by introducing evidence based and state-of-the-art wound management techniques. This led to the eventual creation of the CGH Wound Healing Centre, which has become a leading facility in the region.

Dr Tan is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician (CWSP) accredited by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM), and has a special interest in venous diseases, diabetic limb salvage, diabetic foot complications, and advanced wound care. His dedication to patient care and his contributions to the medical field make him a highly respected and sought-after physician.
