Dr. Brian Khoo is a distinguished cardiologist with a wealth of experience in his field. He graduated with distinction from Queen’s University in Belfast, UK, in 1998 and went on to complete his Basic Specialty Training, gaining Membership with the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom in 2002. Dr. Khoo then pursued Advanced Specialist Training in Cardiology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, obtaining specialist accreditation in Cardiology from the Ministry of Health & Singapore Medical Council in 2006.

Dr. Khoo’s passion for his work led him to further his studies in interventional cardiology. He spent a year training under two renowned cardiologists, Dr. Neal Kleiman at the Methodist DeBakey Heart and Vascular Centre and Dr. Ken Fujise at the University of Texas Medical Branch, USA. This intensive training led to Dr. Khoo being accepted into the United States-based Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education’s sponsorship programme as an interventional cardiology fellow, a notable achievement in the medical field.

Dr. Khoo served as the Director of the Coronary Care Unit and Cardiac Catheterisation at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, as well as a visiting consultant at both the National Heart Centre and the National University Heart Centre. He also chaired the Acute Myocardial Infarction (AMI) workgroup, which was instrumental in setting up Singapore’s 24-hour

Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention service. Dr. Khoo’s outstanding work and expertise have earned him a reputation as one of the leading cardiologists in Singapore.
