Dr. Chia Kok Hoong’s expertise is in transplant surgery, vascular surgery, minimal access laparoscopic surgery, and colorectal surgery. He is particularly interested in cancer surgery and vascular surgery, and has a keen interest in endoscopy, specifically gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

Dr. Chia graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1986 with a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery. He completed his advanced speciality training in general surgery between 1992 and 1995 and was accredited as a specialist in general surgery by the Singapore Ministry of Health in 1998. In 2000, he obtained his Fellowship of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore (FAMS) in general surgery.

With over 20 years of experience in the public healthcare sector, Dr. Chia has gained a reputation as a highly skilled and compassionate surgeon. He has worked in various hospitals, including Tan Tock Seng Hospital and SGH, before establishing his private practice in 2009.
