Dr. Emily Ho is a compassionate psychiatrist who obtained her basic medical degree from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her interest in the intricacies of the human mind led her to specialize in Psychiatry and acquire her Masters in Medicine (Psychiatry) (Singapore).

With her extensive training and experience, Dr. Emily Ho is proficient in treating a diverse range of conditions that affect individuals of all ages, including mood disorders, anxiety and stress-related disorders, medical psychiatry, and women’s health. However, her main area of interest and specialty is in treating dementia and mood disorders in the elderly.

Dr. Emily Ho believes in the importance of planning for graceful aging, which includes preparing a Lasting Power of Attorney. She has years of experience working in the National University Hospital (NUH) and the Institute of Mental Health (IMH), where she served as the Director of Clinical Services in NUH and was actively involved in improving the quality of care provided to patients in her department.

For her efforts in Quality Improvement Projects (QIP), Dr. Emily Ho has received several awards. She has also contributed to books such as “Ageing in Singapore, the next 50 years” and “Mental Healthcare of the Elderly.
