Dr. Goh is an endocrine specialist with a broad range of expertise in diabetes, thyroid disorders, and exercise endocrinology. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with honors from the National University of Singapore in 1996. Dr. Goh then completed advanced specialist training in Endocrinology in 2007 and pursued further specialist training at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, where he earned a Master of Science in Molecular Exercise Physiology with distinction.

Dr. Goh is dually accredited in both endocrinology and internal medicine, and he has also completed a Master in Medicine in Family Medicine, which allows him to provide personalised and holistic specialist care. He has received numerous accolades, including the Service Champion Award in 2012 and the Teaching Excellence Award in 2014, in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the field of medicine.

Dr. Goh has published numerous articles and books on topics such as exercise, diabetes prevention, thyroid diseases, and sodium disorders in peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has also been awarded research grants from various organisations, including the National Medical Research Council, the Endocrine Metabolic Society of Singapore, and Alexandra Health.

In his previous role as the Head of Khoo Teck Puat Hospital Department of Medicine Unit 2 and Division of Endocrinology, Dr. Goh was responsible for overseeing the hospital’s endocrine subspecialty development and spearheading key initiatives such as the thyroid service, multidisciplinary thyroid cancer protocol, inpatient diabetes protocols, and diabetes exercise programme.

Dr. Goh has a passion for teaching and has served in numerous principal educational positions, including Associate Programme Director for the NHG-AHPL Internal Medicine Residency Programme. He is also a member of the board of the Therapeutic Use Exemption Committee of Anti-Doping Singapore, Singapore Sports Council.
