Professional Profile:

Dr Jendana Chanyaputhipong has extensive training and experience in general surgery and breast surgery. She earned her MB BCh BAO degree from the National University of Ireland in 2004 and went on to complete her Advanced Specialist Training in General Surgery in Singapore. She also obtained FRCSEd (Gen) and Master of Medicine (Singapore) degrees and pursued her subspecialty training in Breast Surgery.

Dr Jendana’s expertise in surgical breast oncology is highlighted by her completion of a 2-year International Fellowship at Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. There, she was trained in breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as minimally invasive breast biopsy and minimal scar mastectomies for the treatment of breast cancer. Dr Jendana is also trained to perform cryoablation, a minimally invasive technique used to treat benign and malignant breast conditions.

Aside from her clinical work, Dr Jendana is an accomplished mentor and educator. She has mentored surgical residents and served as a clinical tutor for the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at National University Singapore and the Duke-NUS Medical school. She has received numerous teaching awards, including the “Best Tutor (Surgery) Award” and “Outstanding Clinical Teacher Award.” Dr Jendana has also received several service awards for her compassionate and empathetic care of her patients.

In her free time, Dr Jendana is an avid painter and enjoys DIY projects. She is also a regular volunteer on mission trips, demonstrating her commitment to giving back to her community
