Professional Profile:

Dr LeLe Aung is an accomplished Paediatrician and Paediatric Haematologist-Oncologist with more than 20 years of experience in clinical practice. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York, USA and her Doctor of Medicine degree from Meharry Medical College, USA. Dr Aung completed her General Paediatrics Residency at the University of Minnesota, USA, followed by a Fellowship in Paediatric Haematology-Oncology at the world-renowned Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre and Weil Cornell Medical College-New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, USA.

Dr Aung is a board-certified Paediatrician and Paediatric Haematologist- Oncologist and is accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Board in both Paediatric Medicine and Paediatric Haematology-Oncology. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Paediatrics.

Since relocating to Singapore in 2006, Dr Aung has been dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care to children with complex solid tumours in Singapore and the surrounding regions. She has published numerous studies in several medical journals, including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer, and Pediatric Blood and Cancer, with a focus on childhood cancers prevalent in Singapore, such as osteosarcoma, neuroblastoma, and various childhood solid tumours.

Dr Aung is passionate about sharing her expertise through teaching, serving as a clinical tutor at the National University of Singapore and Adjunct Assistant Professor at Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School. She has also been a guest lecturer on Advanced Nursing at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Dr LeLe Aung is available to accept referrals for all blood and cancer diagnoses in children, adolescents, and young adults. Her special clinical interests include brain cancer, kidney cancer, liver cancer, neuroblastoma, and sarcoma.
